Cookie and Tracking Notice

What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device when a website is accessed. They allow the site to recognise you on a return visit and to retain, for example, the selected language or preferences. Comparable technologies are the browser's local storage and session storage; these are treated here in the same way as cookies.

Which Categories of Cookies We Use

We distinguish three categories.

1. Strictly Necessary Cookies (Always Active)

These cookies and comparable storage mechanisms are essential for the operation of the website — without them we cannot, for example, retain your language selection or save your cookie settings. No consent is required (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; Art. 31(1) FADP).

2. Functional Cookies and Tracking Mechanisms (With Consent)

After you have consented to the "Functional" category, we use the following services. Processing takes place on the basis of your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR; Art. 6(6) FADP) and can be withdrawn at any time via the cookie settings.

Effects of Refusal

If you block strictly necessary cookies, essential functions — in particular the language setting and the saving of your cookie choice — cannot be used at all or only to a limited extent. Functional and marketing cookies can be managed or withdrawn at any time via the cookie settings.

Managing Your Cookie Settings

You can adjust your selection at any time via the "Cookie settings" entry in the footer of the website. In addition, you can manage or delete cookies in your browser. Detailed instructions can be found in your browser's help:
